BioAlex Louis Armstrong is the youngest scion of a
family that carries its nobility back for generations upon
generations. Like his ancestors, Armstrong seeks to serve
his country and people by serving as a National Alchemist
in the Amestris Military.
Those who know the Major live in mortal fear of him -- not
of his deadly alchemical technique, or his fierceness in
battle, but because of his enormously exuberant nature. A
seven-foot, heavily muscled giant with a terrifyingly
developed physique, he has an unfortunate habit of tearing
off his shirt at the slightest provocation and posing in
clouds of pink sparkles. Woe to the targets of Armstrong's
demonstrative nature, because an affectionate hug from this
man can kill you as fast as one of his earth-rending
attacks.
One forgets at their peril, however, that Major Armstrong
is an officer in Intelligence; his outrageous exterior
conceals a shrewd mind and a kind heart.
